Max Verstappen has been voted as the best driver by 19 F1 drivers for the 2023 season with Lewis Hamilton featuring in Top 3.

After the annual list of Top 10 drivers as chosen by the team bosses, F1 has now shared the list of whom 19 drivers have chosen as the best of the lot. It is no doubt that Red Bull’s Verstappen is the winner in this list with Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in second.

Unlike the team bosses list where they also revealed the points tally, the drivers’ list doesn’t have the points against their names but the Top 10 list has two ties. One is for the third spot where two drivers are involved and the other is for the eighth spot with three.

Third place on the drivers’ list is being shared by Mercedes pair of Hamilton and George Russell, as McLaren’s Lando Norris is fifth on list while Alpine’s Fernando Alonso sits sixth ahead of Ferrari’s Carlos Sainz. As noted, the there is an interesting tie for eighth.

It features Williams’ Alexander Albon along with Aston Martin’s Sebastian Vettel and Red Bull’s Sergio Perez. Nine drivers are same as the team bosses list – albeit in different positions – with the Thai featuring on this list and Valtteri Bottas on the other.

Here’s the F1 drivers who took part in this (Lewis Hamilton doesn’t like to rank and so he doesn’t feature on this list): Alex Albon, Fernando Alonso, Valtteri Bottas, Pierre Gasly, Nicholas Latifi, Charles Leclerc, Kevin Magnussen, Lando Norris, Esteban Ocon, Sergio Perez, Daniel Ricciardo, George Russell, Carlos Sainz, Mick Schumacher, Lance Stroll, Yuki Tsunoda, Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel, Zhou Guanyu.

Here’s the full list:
