F1 has released the official trailer for Season 5 of Netflix Drive to Survive which will go on air next week.

With the Season 5 to go on air on February 24 – right in the middle of the 2023 F1 pre-season testing – Netflix has released the official trailer for the new 10-episode season of the highly popular sporting reality show, Drive to Survive.

There were jitters when Netflix first started to cover F1 via Drive to Survive, but over the years, the reality show has quickly captured a worldwide audience in a massive way. So much that Liberty Media has managed to get three races in America for 2023.

There is no doubt about F1 capturing new audience via Drive to Survive, but it has its own set of naysayers especially with the dramatisation of relationships and situations in a way which is away from being 100% realistic.

Initially, neither Mercedes and nor Ferrari were part of the show but caught up with it. The recent dramatisation forced Red Bull’s Max Verstappen to not be part of it, but he returned to the show for this year and is part of the show as a two-time champion.
