On the second and last day of Red Bull Ring collective testing, Charles Leclerc was faster once again thanks to his morning laptime, Steijn Schothorst was the fastest during PM session.

Like yesterday, the weather was splendid for testing. The start of the session was dedicated to race simulation with a first quick laptime was done by Oscar Tunjo (Jenzer Motorsport) ahead of Antonio Fuoco (Trident) and Jakes Hughes (DAMS). And like yesterday, Ferrari young drivers Charles Leclerc (ART Grand Prix) and Fuoco battled for P1, the Monegasque going faster in a session interrupted three times because of Giuliano Alesi (Trident) and Konstantin Tereshchenko (Campos Racing).

Leclerc ended the session in the lead with a 1:19.471 ahead of Fuoco and Matthew Parry (Koiranen GP).

On the afternoon, flying laps were done in the early stages of the session as most of drivers kept focusing on long runs which explains why Steijn Schothorst (Campos Racing) set his fastest time early in a session only interrupted once because of Kevin Jörg (DAMS). Schothorst ended the session ahead of Jack Aitken (Arden International) and Santino Ferrucci (DAMS).
