The French driver of the Ferrari Drivers’ Academy, now replacing Kimi Raikkonen was fastest on the final day of post-GP test at the Silverstone circuit. Lotus has tested the new 18-inch Pirelli tyres. 

All eyes have been set today in the Lotus driven by Charles Pic, which has been used as a test of the new 18-inch tyres that Pirelli has decided to release this test. Pirelli people have been satisfied with the data obtained and the French could roll with the standard tyres in the afternoon, for a total of 38 laps and with a time of 6.644 seconds behind the best.
Jules Bianchi has been the fastest in the Ferrari, showing that he can be a serious candidate for an official seat in the Scuderia in the future. The Frenchman has overctaken in the afternoon the time marked by Daniil Kvyat with Toro Rosso, which was 2nd despite having caused one of the red flags of the session. The third was Kevin Magnussen with McLaren. Giedo van der Garde was 4th with Sauber, but an accident in the final 20 minutes of the session forced to finish prematurely the day. Also Lewis Hamilton, who was 5th, has caused a red flag for getting off track with his Mercedes.
Today Dani Juncadella got back on the Force India as he did last Friday during the first practice session. It was also opening day for Julian Leal and Rio Haryanto with Caterham, but an electronic problem in the morning on the first lap has not allowed Haryanto and finally the Colombian stayed on session, completing 51 laps.
