Andrea Iannone has set the fastest lap time of the weekend in the third practice session of the Austrian Grand Prix of MotoGP at Red Bull Ring. Spaniards Maverick Viñales and Jorge Lorenzo completes the top3.
An interesting third practice session where the drivers battled to get an access to Q2. Early on, Marc Márquez started leading the way and improving his lap times from yesterday but, the Catalan crashed at turn 3.
The Repsol Honda rider almost made contact in the crash with his team mate, Dani Pedrosa. The Catalan felt better today with higher temperatures. He managed to finish tenth in the session.
Márquez after the crash was transported to Leoben hospital and finished the session in ninth position.
Jack Miller and Pol Espargaró also crashed today. Espargaró brother, Aleix who is riding injured finished the session in seventh position. Aleix team mate in Suzuki, Maverick Viñales, finished second this morning.
But anybody stopped the Ducati of Andrea Iannone who set the fastest time of the weekend at this moment. Dovizioso who was the fastest yesterday finished on eight position.
Jorge Lorenzo shine with third place finishing in front of the Pramac of Scott Redding and Valentino Rossi. Hector Barberá joined the top10 as well.
