Lewis Hamilton keeps leading free-practice sessions in Canada for the second time today. Nico Robserg ends third behind Sebastian Vettel on the Gilles Villeneuve Circuit of Montréal.

Thanks to a hard work of the Williams team crew, Felipe Massa was able to take part of FP2 after his crash this morning. When the lights went green, Pascal Wehrlein (Manor), Kimi Raikkonen (Ferrari), Felipe Nasr (Sauber)and Rio Haryanto (Manor) were the first ones to head out.

Around mid-session, drivers focused on long runs and race simulations as usual in FP2. At this point, lots of drivers had gone wide at the wall of champions like Fernando Alonso (McLaren) or Massa, thus without causing damage to their cars.

Like this morning, Lewis Hamilton (Mercedes) claimed fastest time on ultra-soft tyres ahead of Sebastian Vettel (Ferrari) and Nico Rosberg (Mercedes). Max Verstappen (Red Bull Racing) remained in 4th position ahead of his teammate Daniel Ricciardo. Valtteri Bottas (Williams), Kimi Raikkonen -who struggled with his car- Nico Hülkenberg (Force India) and Carlos Sainz Jr (Toro Rosso) complete the top 10.
