Following Sunday’s sprint race in Budapest, several drivers have been penalised.
Firstly, Adrian Quaife-Hobbs was found guilty of forcing Tom Dillmann off the track at Turn 6 on the final lap and causing a collision. Therefore, twenty seconds have been added to his elapsed race time. As a consequence, he now classifies 12th. Raffaele Marciello moves up to eighth and takes the final point available.
Daniel De Jong has also been found guilty of colliding with Julian Leal, but at Turn 1. Twenty seconds have also been added to his elapsed time. He now classifies 18th.
Finally, André Negrao forced Simon Trummer off the track at Turn 2 resulting in a collision between both drivers. The Brazilian will lose five grid positions in the next race at Spa in a month’s time.
