Williams became the second F1 team to complete its shakedown at Silverstone, as Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona has shared onboard video of the new Turn 10, while work at Albert Park is in full flow now.
After McLaren had its filming day run at Silverstone on Tuesday, Williams became the second F1 team to do so on Wednesday with George Russell and Nicholas Latifi. The Brit could be seen in action in FW43B, but the Canadian also had his chance.
Williams had 100km at their disposal on the Pirelli demonstration tyres, but much like McLaren, the team faced similar wet conditions. It is unclear if the team ran their 2021 livery and or had a makeshift colour, as a small video seemingly presented a dark colour.
It could be plain black and or a dark blue scheme as seen in their team gear, which Williams unveiled last week in association with Umbro. The apparel is mostly dark blue in colour as we can see below, although Russell’s race suit had white and blue mix.
Williams has set March 5 as its official launch date, second last, so far in the F1 2021 list of unveilings. Here’s selection of photos – without the car – and a video:

In other news, after getting a thumbs up from both the FIA and the FIM post it completion, the Circuit de Catalunya-Barcelona posted an onboard video of the new Turn 10, which will make its debut later this year as Spanish GP and Catalan GP for F1 and MotoGP.

The video comes after F1 boss Stefano Domenicali visited the Spanish circuit last week to check out the re-profiled Turn 10.
Amid the re-profile of the Turn 10 of the Spanish circuit, another F1 track is undergoing major work ahead of the 2021 event. The work at Albert Park – host of Australian GP – is underway with the first phase already completed, that of widening the pitlane.
The second big change will be seen at the Turn 9-10 complex, where the right-hand corner will be removed and replaced by a fast and lowing transition onto Turn 11. It will make it a spiral-like multiple corners from Turn 9 until Turn 12.
The subsequent Turn 13 will also see some widening, as the final change will be resurfacing of the F1 circuit, to complete a major renovation work of the circuit. The organisers expect the work to be completed by its November date for the 2021 grand prix.
