Starting today, PlayStation Plus subscribers can enjoy F1 25, the official video game of the 2025 Formula 1 season, at no additional cost. PS5 owners can add it to their games in the current library.
To claim the game, subscribers of the Essential, Extra, or Premium tiers have time from October 6 to November 2. Once downloaded, the game will remain in their collection as long as the subscription is active. Additionally, they have the option to download other titles such as Hunt: Showdown 1896 and Earth Defense Force: World Brothers 2, but with the focus on motorsport, F1 is the main attraction.
It is important to note that this offer does not include the expansion for the 2026 season, titled F1 25: 2026 Season Edition. Only the base game can be accessed, which includes the career mode, the team ownership system of My Team 2.0, and online play through F1 World. Players will be able to race on real Formula 1 circuits, created with LiDAR scanning to ensure maximum realism.
The available circuits include Bahrain, Miami, Melbourne, Suzuka, and Imola, represented with great accuracy. However, the teams debuting in the 2026 season, such as Audi and Cadillac, along with the new features of the vehicles, will not be available for this free game. If players want to experience the latest updates, they can purchase the expansion as an add-on for only £24.99 or £22.49 with an EA Play discount.
Although F1 25 has been out for more than a year, EA has continued to support it, so for fans of the competition, it is an opportunity to consider.
