Max Defourny and Jehan Daruvala have been the fastest during the practice sessions of Formula Renault 2.0 NEC at Assen TT, Netherlands. The championship leader, Lando Norris, finished second in both sessions.
The Formula Renault 2.0 Northern European Cup arrives at the venue where 80 thousand of people watch the races in the Gamma Racing Days.
Today is a busy day for the NEC drivers who had an intense Schedule with two practice sessions and two qualifying’s.
Free Practice 1
In the first practice session, Force India junior, Jehan Daruvala (Josef Kaufmann Racing) set the fastest lap in front of Max Defourny (R-ace GP) and the new championship leader, Lando Norris (Josef Kaufmann Racing).
Behind the leaders, Dorian Boccolacci (Tech 1 Racing) who is in Assen for first time, while James Allen (JD Motorsport) completes the top5 and continues improving his performance in the series.
Free Practice 2
In the second practice, Defourny this time was the fastest with 1:34.357, 2 tenths faster than his opponent Lando Norris and Jehan Daruvala.
The rookies, Will Palmer (R-ace GP) and Robert Shwartzman (Josef Kaufmann Racing) completes the top5.
