The F4 driver will make his debut in GP3 with Jenzer.

The American driver Juan Manuel Correa will make his GP3 debut at SpaFrancorchamps with Jenzer. The driver, currently 9th in ADAC F4 and 15th in the Italian F4 championship, will start his transition to GP3 for next season.

Obviously I am very excited and happy to start my first GP3 Series event. GP3 is something that I have been looking to move into ever since my first F4 event and now with the experience in both open wheel formula cars as well as a lot of the tracks throughout Europe, the time was right to make the change.”

Andreas Jenzer, team owner, adds:

We are very pleased to have Juan Manuel on board with our team. We feel it is a great idea to start preparing for the next season as early as possible but of course, moving to a different program mid season is always tough.”

Correa will partner more experienced drivers in the names of Alessio Lorandi and Arjun Maini. He is the second driver this season to come from F4 after the Italian champion Marcos Siebert (Campos). The American driver also said that he will still racing in ADAC F4 for the reminder of the season.
