The Qatar MotoGP test ended on a bad note due to sandstorm curtailing running on the final day with Tech 3 KTM’s Danilo Petrucci topping.

Only five riders set a time on the final day of Qatar MotoGP test, as sandstorm hampered running at Losail International Circuit – much like how F1 faced similar weather in Bahrain. It was Tech 3’s Petrucci on top with a 1m58.157s lap abode his KTM.

He led Honda’s Stefan Bradl, who was over a second behind the German, as LCR Honda’s Takaaki Nakagmi was third from KTM’s Brad Binder and Honda’s Pol Espargaro. Apart from these, only four more riders ventured out all-day long.

Yamaha duo Maverick Vinales and Fabio Quartararo were the ones from the season runners to venture out but not set a time, whereas test runners like Ducati’s Michele Pirro and Suzuki’s Takuya Tsuda were the others out for few laps.
