It seems that nobody can stop Marc Marquez. The poleman for today’s race at Le Mans was again fastest in the warm up session and he is considered the favourite for the win one more time this season.

Andrea Iannone took the early lead of the session, followed by Jorge Lorenzo and Pol Espargaro in the second and third place. Lorenzo set the fastest time a couple of minutes later and Rossi jumped to third, but Alvaro Bautista took the Italian’s place. The Repsol Honda riders joined the track and Dani Pedrosa went third and Marc Marquez seventh.

Iannone was back on top with nine minutes to go. Marquez moved to second but Rossi improved his time and put the championship leader in third place. Marquez didn’t lose time and smashed the clock to go first. Front row man Pol Espargaro improved to sixth place.

When the time was up, Marquez was on top with Iannone second and Rossi third. Lorenzo finished fourth, Pol Espargaro fifth and Pedrosa sixth.
