Hunter-Reay was the fastest driver at the FP1 in Alabama. In a season with two red flags.
The season started with a few cars in the track and with Jack Hawksworth on top.
30 minutes to the end and Josef Newgarden was P1 followed by Ryan Briscoe and Mikhail Aleshin.
20 minutes to the end of the season and Bourdais caused a Red Flag in turn 8.
When the season re-started, all the drivers was in track making the set-up.
10 minutes to go and Heli Castroneves was P1 followed by Ryan Hunter-Reay and Ryan Briscoe.
The second red flag was caused by Scott Dixon.
Finally Ryan Hunter-Reay was first followed by Josef Newgarden i Heli Castroneves.
