F1 Authentics is gearing up for the Miami GP with its ‘Destination Miami’ auction where host of items have been put up for bidding.

As Formula 1 gears up for the second Miami GP next month, F1 Authentics has come up with its ‘Destination Miami’ auction with host of items. One of the biggest prizes is the 2015 Sahara Force India car of Sergio Perez. It is the VJM08-03 chassis with ‘nostrils’ nose.

The B-spec car from Force India – now Aston Martin – caught some eyeballs indeed during the course of 2015. Perez even scored a podium driving the VJM08 in the Russian GP and the F1 car has several original parts as it is being auctioned.

Here’s the original parts of the car – Race used bodywork, engine cover & sidepods, race used front wing, race used brakes & callipers, race used carbon fibre gearbox, race used floor, race spec seatbelts, original radiators & oil coolers, original fuel tank – no collector or lift pumps.

The Destination Miami auction features another F1 car from Alfa Romeo Sauber. They have put up its showcar for auction from the 2022 season. It is the last remaining C42 machine, assembled by the Swiss outfit and is signed by Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu.

There is also a Mclaren MCL36 Full-Size Steering Wheel Model available which has been signed by the team’s driver Lando Norris and team boss Zak Brown. It is a limited edition steering wheel with just 10 pieces made and one of them is being auctioned.

The auction list has 100s of items from pit crew helmet to racing gloves, racing boots, racing overalls, scale models, nose section, front wing, engine cover, side pod, headrest, replica helmet, rear wing, nomex, balaclava and more – it includes the racing suit worn by Fernando Alonso when he got his 100th podium in Saudi Arabian GP.

Here’s the full list of items which people can bid for until April 25: https://auctions.f1authentics.com/iSynApp/allAuction.action?sid=1103161&rc=24&sort=lastbidts_desc&layout=listview&selectedCatId=31724&pgcust1=&pgcust2=&pgcust3=&pgmode1=&pgmode2=catpage&qMode=open&query=&&

“We are thrilled to be able to auction this extremely rare, race-used VJM08 ex-race car, once driven by Sergio Perez, over on our F1 Authentics auction, not to mention the only C42 showcar remaining,” said Barry Gough, CEO and Founder of Memento Exclusives and F1 Authentics. “Our Destination Miami auction boasts plenty of other rare items too that fans won’t want to miss out on as we gear up for the exciting Miami Grand Prix.”
