Williams Racing announced a new major multi-year deal with ROKiT Drinks from 2020 F1 season onward, ahead of this weekend’s Mexico GP.
Williams has added ROKiT Drinks to its sponsorship stable from 2020 F1 season in a new multi-year deal. The company is part of the ROKiT Group, which already has a title sponsorship contract with the Grove-based outfit.
ROKiT Drinks is a premium beverages business which includes spirits, beers, water and energy drinks. Its motto is ‘Build the Mega Brands of Tomorrow, Today’. All of the company’s brand will prominently feature on FW43 – the 2020 F1 car.
Alongside the car, the logo will feature on the race suits, trackside personnel kit and also the helmets of the team’s drivers. Claire Williams, Deputy Team Principal, stated: “We are delighted to announce a new partnership with ROKiT Drinks.
“The continued support from our title partner, ROKiT Phones means a great deal to the team and is a testament to our shared vision. We have enjoyed working with ROK over the past twelve-months and their unwavering support during a challenging time has been a huge motivation to everyone at Williams.
“We look forward to expanding our relationship through this new partnership with ROKiT Drinks and look forward to what the future may hold as we continue to fight our way back towards the front of the grid together.”
Jonathan Kendrick, Chairman of the ROK Group of Companies added: “Rather than just being a passive sponsor, ROK has become very much a pro-active partner with Williams over the course of this season and, as such, we are extremely excited and pleased to further increase our involvement and investment with the team through ROKiT Drinks with a view to a successful future together.”
This is Williams first announcement regarding sponsorship for 2020 F1 season as it is set to lose PKN ORLEN, who should leave the team with the departure of Robert Kubica. It remains to be seen which other sponsors joins in from 2020 onward.
