Red Bull GmbH has cleared Christian Horner after investigation into inappropriate behaviour on the eve of F1 2024 start.

After weeks of speculation and reporting, Horner has been cleared by independent barrister after allegation was laid on the Red Bull F1 chief by a female employee of inappropriate behaviour. What exactly happened was never shared by any of the parties.

Reports initially indicated of coercive behaviour, but later on they noted about Horner sending inappropriate messages and even trying to end the matter by paying her off. But nothing has been confirmed despite a resolution into the matter.

Horner not only attended the Red Bull launch, but also the pre-season testing. He will attend the Bahrain GP as well as reports noted about him traveling down to Bahrain only on Tuesday evening, tagging along with Helmut Marko in Austria.

The statement from Red Bull GmbH noted about the grievance being dismissed but giving the complainant a chance to right to appeal if needed. The company feels the investigation was done fairly and there was no partiality for anyone involved in the matter.

“The independent investigation into the allegations made against Mr Horner is complete, and Red Bull can confirm that the grievance has been dismissed,” said the statement. “The complainant has a right of appeal. Red Bull is confident that the investigation has been fair, rigorous and impartial.

“The investigation report is confidential and contains the private information of the parties and third parties who assisted in the investigation, and therefore we will not be commenting further out of respect for all concerned. Red Bull will continue striving to meet the highest workplace standards.”
