The 2015 F4 NEZ season champion, will continue in the Red Bull Junior Team for the 2017 season. He will race in GP3 Series.
Helmut Marko, head of the Red Bull Racing Junior Team, told to the Finnish network MTV that they will renew their contract with the young Finn, who is on course for his third year in single-seaters in 2017.
The Finn repeatedly scored podiums and won a European F3 race at Imola this year with the team Motopark, as well as participating in two GP3 races at Spa-Francorchamsp with the Koiranen GP team. In 2017 will run the entire season in GP3 and will be testing the car in the Yas Marina test.
Helmut Marko at Malaysian GP said that Kari’s season was not as he expected, but then he evolved and that it has a lot of potential.
