Parker Kligerman has announced his withdrawal from participating in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series race at Bristol Motor Speedway, scheduled for next Thursday, due to a persistent illness. Additionally, Kligerman was also unable to participate in the broadcast of the The CW program last week at Gateway.
The Henderson Motorsports driver was set to drive the number 75 vehicle, marking his 130th participation in the category and the fifth of this season. So far, Kligerman has achieved three victories in the series, notably the controversy of his win in the first race of the 2025 season at Daytona, which ended in disqualification.
As a replacement, 25-year-old Nick Sanchez will drive the #75. Kligerman expressed in a statement: ‘Little update: I’m not competing tonight at Bristol. Some of you know that I was quite ill last week and the recovery has been slower than I expected. I’m getting better every day, but I’m not quite ready to race. It was better not to participate in this race, especially with the upcoming broadcast.’
Sanchez, who has competed full-time in the truck series during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, has won twice and achieved a fifth place in the overall standings. The Bristol race will be his 49th participation in the NASCAR Truck Series, with three previous races at Bristol, where he has obtained a fifth-best result in his performances.
