Frederic Vasseur and Mike Krack are taking one race at a time with prospects of Red Bull winning all F1 races in 2023.

Having taken seven wins out of seven so far in F1 2023, many believe that Red Bull can win them all this year considering the pace advantage they have at the moment. They are in no pressure to do but rivals and media are pushing ahead with the call.

It is 50-50 in the Red Bull camp where on the outside they are playing down the chances, but deep down there will be that mindset to win them all to create a F1 record for others to beat. They do stand to set new benchmark if they manage to do it this year.

In terms of wins in a year, Red Bull managed 17 last year with the record currently held by Mercedes with 19 wins in a year in 2016. In terms of consecutive wins, they currently have eighth against their names taking 2022’s Abu Dhabi GP win.

The current record is held by McLaren from 1988 with 11 wins on the go in one season. Red Bull will equal its own record of nine consecutive wins from 2013 and 2022 if they win this weekend’s Canadian GP and can better it in their home event in Austria.

Rivals like Mercedes, Ferrari and Aston Martin are at the forefront for now to stop them and both Vasseur and Krack are taking it one race at a time even though they know it will be hard to stop unless something dramatic happen in the grand prix.

“Honestly, that I’m taking the race one after one and I’m thinking about the next one that it’s difficult to predict where we’ll be in six month time in term of development and we have to be realistic,” said Vasseur.

“But then you never know what could happen and you never know also what will be the right of development over the next couple of weeks or months. But let’s take the races one after one and to be focused on what we are doing on track.”

Krack, meanwhile, hopes that others can chip in with couple of victories. “We have to see race by race and it is also a development game that is going on,” he said. “We might also have a situation where when the championships are won, or whatever, that there is more concentration on the future and then other teams can catch up. So let’s take it race by race and keep our fingers crossed that someone else will win one or two or three.”
