Haas and Stake F1 teams made their 2024 debut in a shakedown, as McLaren continued its private testing programme.

With their launches done and dusted, both Haas and Stake had their shakedown of the 2024 F1 cars on separate days and separate tracks. The former had its run on Sunday with Nico Hulkenberg in action, driving the VF-24 in real at Silverstone.

It was a wet running for the German who completed 200 km of running after the FIA firmed the regulation to have 200 km than the earlier 100 km of running. As known, Kevin Magnussen did not have his chance to drive and he will have to wait until Bahrain.

Couple of days before Haas, it was Stake F1 team with its C44 at Barcelona. They completed the 200 km but ran both Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu as they got their running in the 2024 F1 car ahead of the pre-season test in Bahrain.

McLaren, meanwhile, continued its ‘private’ running at Barcelona, but this time with both its regular drivers Lando Norris and Oscar Piastri. They were driving the 2022 MCL36 while using their 2024 helmets, as they get ready for its launch on February 14.
