The Haas director emphasized that team members are doing an excellent job, but that without adequate resources, it is difficult to showcase their potential. “What we have achieved at the beginning of this season is completely unexpected, considering our number of employees,” he stated.
After a promising start to the season, where the team was fourth in the constructors’ championship, the latest results have been disappointing. In the last five races, Haas has not scored points, increasing the pressure to find a more sustainable budget.
The team is working to improve this situation, and Komatsu is optimistic about the potential of his team, which includes drivers like Oliver Bearman, who has excelled in the early races. The team principal has committed to providing the team with the right environment to harness all their talent.
