GR Cup Spain returns to action this weekend at Circuit Ricardo Tormo, host of the second round of the 2026 season following its opener at Circuito del Jarama.

In its third edition, the one-make cup organized by Toyota Spain and MSi continues to establish itself as a championship defined by parity. The opening round of the year resulted in a tie on points between the top two finishers, reflecting the high competitive level across the grid.

Marco Aguilera arrives in Valencia as the championship leader, closely followed by Sandro Pérez and Tony Albacete, in a standings battle that promises maximum excitement from the very start of the weekend.

As an added highlight, the event will feature the presence of Marta García, 2023 F1 Academy champion and the first winner in the history of the series, attending as a special guest of Toyota Spain.

The grid also features notable new additions. Lucas Mariconda, just 15 years old, steps up from karting to make his debut in the category with the RX ProRacing team, carrying the number 73. Meanwhile, Daniel Casas returns after competing in the full season last year with Eficar, further cementing his place in the championship.

Track action will begin on Friday the 10th with the collective test and free practice sessions. Qualifying and the races will take place on Saturday and Sunday, deciding the outcome of this second round of the season.

GR Cup Spain thus heads into a new chapter in Valencia, where close competition and on-track spectacle will once again take center stage.
