The FIA has shared details of F1 Dutch GP track limits, DRS zones, changes to circuit, stewards names and more.

The F1 circus is back in game after the summer break and the FIA Race Director Niels Wittich has shared his note for the Dutch GP at Zandvoort. The track limits remains to be the white line, but he has some direction towards escape road re-joining.

There is no mention of any penalty or anything yet if they don’t follow this particular ruling. Here’s what he stated:

  • Escape Road at Turn 1 – If a driver overshoots the corner at Turn 1 there is a small road along the front of the tyre barrier which leads back on to the track at the exit of Turn 1, please ensure that your drivers use this when necessary.
  • Escape Road at Turn 8 – If a driver overshoots the corner at Turn 8 there is a small road along the front of the tyre barrier which leads back on to the track at Turn 9, please ensure that your drivers use this when necessary.
  • Escape Road at Turn 11 – If a driver overshoots the corner at Turn 11 there is a small road along the front of the tyre barrier which leads back on to the track at Turn 12, please ensure that your drivers use this when necessary.

Moving on to the two DRS zones, the first one’s detection is at entry to Turn 10 and activation is 50m after Turn 10. At the same time, the detection zone for the second is at 20m after Turn 12 and activation is at 40m after Turn 13.

In terms of the stewards, Tim Mayer will lead the FIA panel consisting of Felix Holter, Derek Warwick and Marc Boonman. The governing body also noted about filming of the Hollywood move to continue, while adding on the circuit changes, here’s them:

  • New FIA fence at Turn 7 RHS, Turn 8 RHS and at Turn 12 in the run-off to protect marshals.
  • Removal of bump on start/finish straight before Turn 1.
  • Removal of bump between Turn 5 and Turn 6 on RHS.
