F1 wants Red Bull to complete the internal investigation into Christian Horner’s matter as soon as possible with the 2024 season around the corner.

The whole of winter has been rocked by multiple news but the big one certainly has been the Red Bull GmbH’s investigation into Horner for coercive behaviour with a female employee. The management style came into question of the Brit.

There are multiple reports still about the matter as nothing has been officially conveyed by Red Bull GmbH into the contents of the matter. Horner has already met with an independent barrister in London before Red Bull Racing’s launch event in Milton Keynes.

Horner did not go into details of the matter but admitted that it has been a distraction in this winter as he argues to strike off his name from such allegation. With the matter not getting resolve quickly, F1 is pressing for it in their own statement.

They are aware of an internal investigation, and want them to resolve it as quickly as possible. “We have noted that Red Bull has instigated an independent investigation into internal allegations at Red Bull Racing,” said the statement from F1 to media including Motorsport Network, The Race, Racefans and more.

“We hope that the matter will be clarified at the earliest opportunity, after a fair and thorough process and we will not comment further at this time.” Everyone’s eyes is on Horner’s case, considering the power he holds not just at Red Bull but in F1 too.

Any truth in such allegation, will not just tarnish Horner’s reputation but also Red Bull and even F1 to a certain extent. Its potential engine partner Ford Performance’s Mark Rushbrook too is looking at things from the sidelines at the moment.

He notes that Ford holds strong values and he is fine to know that Red Bull GmbH is taking the matter seriously.  “As a family company, and a company that holds itself to very high standards of behaviour and integrity, we do expect the same from our partners,” said Rushbrook to Associated Press.

“It appears to us, and what we’ve been told, was that Red Bull is taking the situation very seriously. And of course, they’re worried about their brand, as well. And that’s why they’ve got an independent investigation and until we see what truth comes out of that, it’s too early for us to comment on it all.”
