F1 has shared an ‘All Access’ video from the final grand prix of Sebastian Vettel with insights, as the German talks about what he could do in future.
After Aston Martin shared its own documentary on Vettel from his final grand prix in Abu Dhabi, F1 has shared its own version under ‘All Access’ of the weekend at Yas Marina circuit. It is an emotional compilation of the best moments from the weekend.
The video has his rivals along with father Norbert and longtime PR Britta Roeske talking about various things from his career. Talking about his ownself, Vettel hasn’t yet firmed up on what he will do post F1 as expected but he feels good about rallying to try once.
“I think naturally you do look at other stuff,” said Vettel when asked about his interests beyond F1. “I don’t know, is the answer. So, I think I quite look forward to the idea of nothing, at first, and then see what it does to me. I mean, there are lots of other things in my head as well. Other interests and ideas outside racing.
“But yeah, obviously I’ve done this for so long and it’s a big part of… It’s central to my life. So it will be difficult to say that I’m not going to miss it, but how much and whether then I start to look at something else, we’ll see. I always liked, for some reason, rallying, but I can see it’s a major challenge, because it’s so different to what we do in, let’s say, classic circuit racing. So yeah, I don’t know. We’ll see,” summed up Vettel.
