Ferrari’s Spanish driver Fernando Alonso has dominated the second and final free practice session on Friday. The session was completely dry but there was a bit of rain, which didn’t complicate the conditions of the’ track grip.
The session was very entertaining as all teams had to try the aerodynamic parts because the conclusions in the first session on wet were not optimal to verify the validity of those pieces. As usual the first session stints have been made with the toughest tyres at this GP (Media) and finally the rapid batch qualifying lap with the softer compound (supersoft).
The Mercedes of Lewis Hamilton and Ferrari’s Fernando Alonso have been very iclose in performance as the two drivers were separated by less than half a tenth of a second, behind them were Romain Grosjean, Webber, Rosberg, Massa, Vettel , Sutil, Button, Ricciardo and Raikkonen.
Finally, the teams have made a race simulation and especially here where the Ferrari highlighted. Fernando Alonso has made a flawless round with super-soft tyres and shared with his teammate Massa the work that has been done with the hardest tyres, the two stints have been by far the best with each compound of all drivers on the track.
For tomorrow it seems that the fight for pole will be between the Ferrari of Alonso and Hamilton from Mercedes, not to mention obviously the triple world champion, Sebastian Vettel.
