Sergio Sette Camara has been the fastest in the second qualifying session at Imola, for FIA Formula 3 European Championship. The Brazilian with a penalty saw how Eriksson and Stroll took the pole positions for Race 2 and 3, respectively.

The second qualifying is the most important because decides the starting grid for two races with the best first lap, and second lap.

The MotoPark despite have Volkswagen engine took once again the top of the classification. It was Sergio Sette Camara who set the fastest lap of the session with 1:36.138, two tenths faster than his team mate, Joel Eriksson.

Camara but have a 10 place of penalty because of engine change, which means that is the BMW youngster, Joel Eriksson on pole, ahead of Lance Stroll (Prema Powerteam) who can take the title tomorrow.

The British George Russell (Hitech GP) and Callum Ilott (Van Amersfoort Racing) followed the swede driver, while Maximilian Günther (Prema Powerteam) fifth will have to comeback if he still want to win the championship.

In the second fastest lap time, we can see that is Lance Stroll who took the pole position ahead of Ilott and Russell; Günther is fourth while Camara finished 5th, which means he will start from 15th position.

The session had one red flag, caused by Niko Kari (Motopark) who went off. Nikita Mazepin (Hitech GP) also went off but he managed to get back in the track.
