Tom Blomqvist has achieved the second pole of this weekend of the DTM in the urban circuit of Norisring. The BMW driver has surpassed by only four thousandths to the Mercedes of Robert Wickens. The Top 3 has been completed by Audi of Nico Muller.

BMW will once again lead the starting grid for the second race of the weekend at the Norisring urban circuit. Tom Blomqvist has made a magnificent pole in the second qualifying session held this afternoon, which will take him from the first position in the race this afternoon, which will see green light from 17:23 local time.

However, it has not been an easy task for Blomqvist, as the distances have been as tight in a track short as the Norisring. The English driver of BMW has been only four thousandths faster than the Mercedes of Robert Wickens, who brushed the pole for the mark of the star. Last year’s winner on Sunday, Nico Muller, gave life to Audi with the third place.

Fourth place was Bruno Spengler, who was just ahead of Mattias Ekström, who will start from a good position in this bittersweet weekend for not being able to participate in the RX of Sweden. In sixth place will be Lucas Auer, who closed a Top6 in less than a tenth, followed by Maxime Martin (BMW), Mike Rockenfeller (Audi), Timo Glock (BMW) and René Rast (Audi) closing the top ten positions.

The race will be played this Sunday afternoon from 17:23 local time, at the German circuit of Norisring.
