Jake Hughes has achieved today in Nürburgring his first win in FIA F3 after driving from Pole with no mistakes and contaning the attacks from Norris, who has been second. Ilott has finished on third position.

Race started and Jake Hughes kept on the first place where he started, followed by Callum Ilott and Lando Norris. There were many overtakes and fights on the middle of the pack, but no incidents on the first lap. On the next lap, Marino Sato ran wide into the grass.

One lap later, Norris overtook Ilott to improve tosecond place. Guanyu Zhou spun due to running on the astroturf. Behind, standings runner-up Maximilian Günther was on 14th place, outside the points.

As laps were being ran, Norris was setting fastest laps and slowly getting closer to the lead. The Carlin driver finally caught the Hitech one on the last two laps.

Finally, Norris didn’t manage to threaten Hughes’ position and he won his first ever FIA F3 win, which is also the first one for Hitech GP this year. In second place has finished Norris, who gets closer to the title. Ilott completes a British one-two-three with a thrid place. Tadasuke Makino, Ralf Aron, Ferdinand Habsburg, Harrison Newey, Joel Eriksson and Jehan Daruvala are the other points scorers. Günther has been finally unable to improve a 12th place.

These results leave Norris still on the lead, with 363 points, followed by Günther with 302. Eriksson, who is already out of the battle for the title, is third with 261. The next race, the last one of the weekend, will be held this afternoon, at 16:55 local time.
