Josef Newgarden was the fastest in the final test session before the second race of the season. A session where all drivers used it for checking the car and prepare for the race.

The session was interrupted for several minutes to get out to track one of the cones that are cornering to avoid cutting of cars, something that could be dangerous for the race. Bourdais and Reay continue with their easy pace all weekend and ranked second and third. Many laps for all drivers during this last sesion. The race will take place at 22.30 CET +1
