Russia´s driver, still fighting for the EFOpen title, will join Palou and Ashkanani at GP3 home round in Sochi. Tereschenko´s fantastic achievements in Formula 3 have resulted in debuting in the GP3 Series and gaining experience for next year.

 

Konstantin Tereschenko will make his debut in the GP3 Series next weekend driving one of the cars entered by Campos Racing. Tereschenko, in his second season competing in the Euroformula Open series with the Alzira-based team and currently sitting 2nd in the drivers´ championship, takes the next big step forward in his career towards the pinnacle of motorsport. Besides, his debut shall be pretty special as it will take place in front of his home crowd at the Sochi Autodrom in the city of the same name.

Alex Palou and Zaid Ashkanani will team up with Tereschenko in the streets of Sochi. Palou has scored 18 points in last two rounds (Spa-Francorchamps and Monza) and his goal is to continue paving this positive path with his maiden podium finish in sight. On the other hand Ashkanani eyes first points at Sochi. Zaid is steadily improving his pace and, despite 2015 is his debut in a major international championship, the Kuwaiti racer is already matching much more experienced racing drivers.

The Russian round begins on Friday with free practice session. Qualifying takes place at 09.30 (local time) on Saturday and race 1 is due to start at 13.30 later that day. The weekend comes to an end on Sunday at 10.00 with race 2.
