Ferrari completed a short demo run at Fiorano, while Mercedes undertook a full shakedown at Silverstone to end the final week before F1 testing.
After the launch on Thursday, Ferrari made its first appearance on track where the F1-75 was driven around a different layout of the Fiorano circuit where Charles Leclerc went out first before handing it to Carlos Sainz for a short run by both.
The day was also dedicated to the team’s partner with the fans and all braving thick fog engulfing the circuit. The next full running for Ferrari will be on February 22 with 100 km at their disposal for a filming run at the Barcelona circuit.
Post that, they will take part in a full three-day test at the same venue whose line-up details will be shared at a later stage. While Ferrari had their time at Fiorano, Mercedes took to Silverstone with the brand new W13 in the silver arrows livery.
Following its launch on Friday morning, George Russell was first up to drive the W13 in tricky weather as a storm was blowing over the Silverstone circuit. Lewis Hamilton was next up to complete their 100km run before the Barcelona test.
