Lando Norris has jumped into the karting scene like his fellow F1 rivals, as he kick-starts ‘LN Racing Kart’ along with the OTK Kart Group.

Having hinted of an upcoming news for Wednesday, McLaren F1 driver Norris has announced his karting venture under ‘LN Racing Kart’. He has joined hands with the OTK Kart Group and Ricky Flynn Motorsport in his new journey.

Norris has been working on this project for the past 12 months. It was with the OTK FA Kart chassis and Ricky Flynn Motorsport that he won the FIA Karting Championship and now intends to help youngsters with best machine and guidance to the top.

It will start its operations from 2022 onward under the Ricky Flynn Motorsport banner, using the navy blue and fluo yellow livery as used by Norris. They are in the process of getting the drivers, as they plan to compete in WSK and also FIA Karting competitions.

LN Racing Karting is also planning to launch its products in Mini, Junior and Senior categories, with details to come in time to come. Norris follows his F1 teammate Daniel Ricciardo and friend Charles Leclerc in having a kart team.

Say hello to the LN Racing Kart,” wrote Norris. “This is a project I’ve been working on with OTK for the last year and I’m super-proud to say it’s now here. Karting is where it all started for me, I won my first world championship on OTK’s FA Racing Kart and I can’t wait for the day when someone wins their first championship on the LN Racing Kart. Bring on the future talent! Let’s do this, LN Racing Kart, Ricky Flynn Motorsport.”
