The FIA noted that there are no significant changes made to the Spa-Francorchamps circuit from 2018 for 2019 F1 Belgium GP.

Unlike the previous F1 races, the Spa-Francorchamps circuit has had no changes for the 2019 event from 2018 as per the note by the FIA ahead of this weekend’s Belgium GP.

The governing body has, though, released details of the two DRS zones though, with the detection point of the first zone located 240m before Turn 2, with the activation point 230m after Turn 4.

The activation point in 2018 was after 210m but for 2019, it will 20m later. Meanwhile, the second detection zone is located 160m before Turn 18, with the activation point 30m after Turn 19.

The FIA also revealed the names of the four F1 stewards for the Belgium GP with ex-racer Emanuele Pirro returning after a gap of few races. He will have Dr. Gerd Ennser, Steve Chopping and Yves Bacquelaine alongside him.
