El piloto francés ha sido el más rápido en la sesión de clasificación seguido por el japonés Nakagami y el italiano Baldassarri.
Zarco que ha dominado toda la sesión ha sido el piloto más rápido con un tiempo de 1,37.436. Le sigue Nakagami que terminó a tan solo 0.073 milésimas y Baldassarri a 1 décima. El japonés y el italiano fueron los dos pilotos que más dificultades crearon al francés.
Fuera de las posiciones de podio finalizó Lowes a 3 décimas del poleman, Morbidelli saldrá 5º, Luthi 6º y Cortese 7º. En la 8ª posición encontramos al español Álex Rins, que la semana pasada sufrió mucho con los problemas físicos que arrastraba de su operación de hombro. Pasini y Syahrin completan el top 10.
