Sebastian Vettel topped the second free practice session of the German GP disputed at Nurburgring.
Behind the Red Bull of Vettel finished Nico Rosberg (Mercedes) just two-tenths away from the German, followed by Mark Webber in the same tenth than Nico, and Romain Grosjean, two tenths away from Webber.
The two Ferrari have staged a very good practice session, especially in the race simulation section in which they have finished as the fastest in that aspect, however a lap of the F138 is not good at all since they have finished six tenths behind Vettel and Webber, Rosberg and the two Lotus.
The best time of the evening has been of 1.30.416, Fernando Alonso has done a lap of 1.31.056. In race simulation with soft tyres the Ferraris have done a very impressive perfomance, with a considerable difference upon the other teams, and with hard tyres they have been near Webber’s times with his Red Bull.
The McLaren, Force India and Toro Rosso have returned to their natural positions and it seems that the fight for the last positions in Q3 on Saturday will be between them.
