Travis Pastrana, action sports legend, will once again get behind the wheel of a NASCAR Craftsman truck this month, teaming up with Kaulig Racing to drive the number 25 Ram 1500 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Pastrana, a racing enthusiast, shared his excitement: “I love to race and compete in everything, and NASCAR is one of the biggest and most competitive platforms in the world. Having the opportunity to get in the number 25 truck from Kaulig Racing through the Free Agent program is incredible. Driving these Ram 1500s is a lot of fun. We’ll go out and put on a show for the fans and see what results we can achieve.”

This 42-year-old driver is no stranger to the world of NASCAR. He participated in the 2023 Daytona 500, where he finished in a commendable 11th place with 23XI Racing. Additionally, he has accumulated 42 races in the NASCAR O’Reilly Series, highlighted by a pole at Talladega and a best finish of ninth place.

In the truck category, Pastrana has competed in seven previous races, achieving a highest position of 13th. His last competition was in the inaugural 2026 season at Daytona, where he finished 15th driving for Niece Motorsports.

His only previous experience at the Charlotte oval was with a NASCAR O’Reilly car, with three races run between 2012 and 2013.

The number 25 truck from Kaulig Racing is known as the ‘free-agent’ truck, as it utilizes a variety of drivers throughout the year. Some notable names that have driven include Tony Stewart, Ty Dillon, and Colin Braun. Upcoming, A.J. Allmendinger and Clint Bowyer will also be part of this project.
