Roman Stanek will remain with Trident for 2024 FIA F2 season which will be his second year in the championship.

Trident Motorsport is delighted to announce that Czech driver Roman Staněk will compete in the 2024 FIA Formula 2 Championship under its banner. Lining up with the Milan-based squad, Staněk entered the 2022 FIA Formula 3 Championship, ending up fifth overall in a brilliant season that included one win at Imola, four podiums, and two fastest laps.

In 2023, the Valašské Meziříčí native stayed with Trident Motorsport and stepped up to the FIA Formula 2 Championship, scoring 15 points and showing a rising trend that is expected to continue in 2024. The first round of the FIA Formula 2 Championship is scheduled for the opening weekend of March at Sakhir in Bahrain. The continued collaboration between Trident Motorsport and Staněk, now entering its third year, is the natural consequence of the quality relationship between the two parties and will be a key element in reaching highly-valuable goals.

Giacomo Ricci, Team Manager Trident Motorsport, says: “We are delighted to continue our collaboration with Roman Staněk, who has been part of our family for a long time and was able to provide winning results in the past. We are certain that all the ingredients are there to do well and achieve increasingly ambitious goals together. The experience acquired in 2023 will prove pivotal to start the new season with the best conditions and maximum determination.”
