Fourth place for the Russian driver, new in the young drivers of Sauber F1 Team, Sergey Sirtokin (ISR), who started from P10 and thanks to a good strategy race, stop more late than other drivers, He can did his pace and after his obligatory pit stop, up to P5. With new tyres, Sirotkin caught Will Stevens who drive in fourth position, and finally overtook him. After that, Safety Car enters in the Red Bull Ring because Carlos Huertas (Carlin) who drive in that moment at P10 made a spin and stopped his car in the corner to enter in the last corner of the circuit.  Safety Car stayed 2 laps in the circuit, and when went in, Norman Nato (DAMS) try to overtook Stevens but the Frenchman went off and was overtook by Buller, Stockinger and Muller. Buller in the next corner tries to overtake Stevens and finally he did it.
