Last free practice in Abu Dhabi in very hot conditions, 37ºC and 48ºC on track. It is expected, though, that temperatures will decrease as qualifying and the race take place at night.

At the begining of the session, the teams have tested the medium tyres with a mid amount of fuel. The Red Bulls and the Mercedes have been fastest with a very small difference of time between them. Finally Rosberg’s been the fastest with the hardest compound. Teams went back to the pits when Jules Bianchi spun and caused a yellow flag to get ready for testing for qualifying.

Qualifying simulations have been quite close compared to the previous GPs. Sebastian Vettel has set the fastest time, even though it’s been slower than the one he set yesterday in FP2. Webber was second followed by Hamilton, who made a mistake when he was improving his time, Rosberg and Grosjean. Button was 6th, showing the good pace McLaren’s having in this circuit.
