Nico Rosberg continues to lead the times in the Brazilian Grand Prix ahead of Hamilton who looked nervous today, although the Mercedes hid for much of the session. Massa was third; Fernando Alonso finished eighth, very uncomfortable with the car.
Drivers went out in Interlagos circuit and although it was cloudy, it seemed likely to endure.
The first times were recorded and Magnussen was first followed by the Toro Rosso.
Hamilton was surprised by a spin at the first corner and Gutierrez was getting in trouble.
In the middle of the session leaders continued dancing and now Massa was leading followed by Raikkonen.
The Mercedes were lost by the bunch and kept Hamilton uncomfortable after his spin and Rosberg stood ninth. The antithesis was the Lotus that seemed to be grown slowly.
With 20 minutes to finish, Fernando Alonso managed to put himself first but then Rosberg pulverized the time of the Spanish and kept the circuit record with a time of 1: 10,446. Shortly after Hamilton managed to get behind the German.
Fernando Alonso got out of the car and was not very satisfied, looking how he was slowly losing positions.
Finallythe session finished with Rosberg in front followed by Hamilton, who apparently is the keynote here at Interlagos. Felipe Massa at home – it is always a plus- finished third.
We will see if Hamilton turns the classification upside down or if Rosberg continues his overwhelming dominance.
