The second practice session started with an insistent rain and moderate intensity, which has been maintained throughout the session. This has meant that the track was very wet and the team has chosen not to do many laps, despite the rain tyres performed well in these conditions.

Nico Rosberg has done virtually the same as in the first session, leaving after a while and setting the fastest time, a little better than Mark Webber had done. Many drivers have not gone all the way, and have set the times with the intermediate, although the track had not improved much.
Despite the difficult conditions, we have seen few mistakes. Hamilton has returned to spin, much more spectacular than this morning because he has completed a 360º spin. Finally in the last 5 minutes with almost everyone on track, the track has improved considerably and drivers have started to reduce the times. When it seemed that Red Bull would be granted more than one second ahead of their rivals, Nico Rosberg has done a good lap and has become the best time to take, while Heikki Kovalainen finished fourth behind both Red Bull.
