Rodin Motorsport has officially announced its first drivers for the upcoming season of the FIA Formula 2 and Formula 3 championships, maintaining its commitment to young talent for the year 2027.
Brando Badoer, son of the 1992 Formula 3000 champion, Luca Badoer, will move up to F2 after finishing eighth in this year’s standings, where he achieved a notable victory at the Monte Carlo circuit. Despite this, he had a difficult end to the season, scoring no points in the last five races.
Following this milestone, Badoer expressed his satisfaction for the new chapter: “I am very happy to be announced as an F2 driver. I thank the team for the opportunity and the trust placed in me, and I am excited to continue this adventure together.”
On the other hand, his teammate in F3, Pedro Clerot, will also continue in this category after achieving impressive results this season, with one victory and two poles, including a splendid finish in Madrid. Clerot finished the season in sixth overall position.
Clerot also shared his excitement about staying with Rodin Motorsport: “We have built a very solid relationship and have achieved great results, improving race after race. Continuing this journey is very special to me.”
In addition, the British Reza Seewooruthun will move up to F3 after a strong performance with the Euro Formula Regional team (FREC), where he achieved two podiums. Seewooruthun expressed his pride in making this leap with a team he trusts.
The sporting director of Rodin Motorsport, Benn Huntingford, highlighted Badoer’s progress and Clerot’s consistency during the season, hoping that both talents continue to grow in their new path within the motorsport world.
