Red Bull shares video of work at Powertrains site; F1 reveals new ’22 intro

Red Bull, F1

Red Bull has shared video of the ongoing work at its Powertrains site in Milton Keynes, as F1 reveals new 2022 intro title.

Since Honda announced the departure from F1, Red Bull stepped up with the idea of ‘Red Bull Powertrains’, eyeing the 2025/26 FIA engine regulations change. While there are multiple speculations linking of manufacturer’s help, but work goes on at Milton Keynes.

Not far off from its main headquarters where the simulator and chassis section is housed, they started the work on the new Powertrains division early in 2021. Since then, they have built a whole new building to house the big machines needed for manufacturing.

Even though Honda is helping Red Bull and AlphaTauri via its Sakura base in Japan for the 2022 F1 engine and perhaps beyond it, the team is pushing as ever to have everything in place before the big overhaul on the engine side.

Meanwhile, with Honda still extending an outside support to the team for 2022, Masashi Yamamoto is already in Bahrain for the first race and was spotted chatting with Sergio Perez. He is captioned to be as ‘Red Bull Racing Consultant’.
