The F1 and MotoGP world united in Austria during a round of the 2019-20 FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, where the Red Bull Racing and AlphaTauri drivers were joined by Sebastian Vettel, Bernie Ecclestone and Pol Espargaro.
Like it has been a ritual for some years now, the Red Bull F1 family visits Kitzbuhel, in Austria, for a skiing championship round, where the likes of Ecclestone and Vettel also likes to visit. There is a unification of both F1 and MotoGP drivers/riders.
But for 2020, only Espargaro could be seen from the MotoGP (KTM) side, while Max Verstappen, Alexander Albon, Daniil Kvyat and Pierre Gasly represented F1 (Red Bull/AlphaTauri) along with Vettel. Ecclestone could also be seen along with Herbie Blash.
The world event also had a charity skiing where Porsche Formula E racer Neel Jani took part, with Vettel, Ecclestone and Birgit Lauda – wife of Niki – were honoured to wave the chequered flag. Albon, Kyvat, Gasly and Espargaro took part as well.
