The pole sitter for tomorrow’s Eurocup Formula Renault 2.0, Lando Norris, has been disqualified after the scrutineering. That allowed Habsburg to take the pole position but the Austrian got a penalty from Motorland Aragón, which means that Sacha Fenestraz is on pole at Monte Carlo.
After his dominance on practices and on today’s qualifying, Lando Norris (Josef Kaufmann Racing) has been disqualified after scrutineering, which revealed a technical non-conformity with his car.
That could has been the first pole position for Ferdinand Habsburg (Fortec Motorsports) who, had a another penalty from Motorland Aragón row, which means that the rookie and youngster, Sacha Fenestraz (Tech 1 Racing) is on pole position, alongside Max Defourny (R-ace GP).
The Belgium driver has the opportunity to take the lead of the championship thanks to Norris penalty.
On second row will be Habsburg, alongside of Dorian Boccolacci (Tech 1 Racing), as Force India young drivers, Nikita Mazepin (AVF) and Jehan Daruvala (Josef Kaufmann Racing) will start on row third.
