Today the track was wet, and teams wanted to take advantage of this situation and change the wet test day (that was scheduled for Friday).

So, the first car to hit the track this morning has been a tractor, carrying a wet tank to water more the track. The session has started with full wet tires, but not much action in the track. Esteban Gutiérrez has been the driver who has completed most laps, but his Sauber has also caused the only red flag of the day so far.

The new of the morning has been the official confirmation of Eric Boullier as new Race Director in McLaren, just after the announcement, Jenson Button has left the pits and has set the best time, but the track was getting dry. Again, teams have completed just a few laps. Caterham has had problems again and the car has been inside the garages during all the morning.

Marussia has announced on twitter that their car is arriving to Jerez, probably it will arrive this afternoon and it will make debut tomorrow.

This afternoon looks good for the fans, as the track is dry, and teams need to test a lot of things.
