The promoters of the Madring circuit have showcased the layout of the upcoming F1 circuit in Madrid, which will be the home of Spanish GP.

After the promoters announced ACCIONA and Eiffage Construction will build the upcoming Madring circuit in Madrid, the organisers held a formal presentation on Friday to showcase the layout of the new track via an official presentation which was also attended by Williams’ Carlos Sainz.

The Spaniard was named as an ambassador. The new Madring circuit is to become the home of Spanish GP from 2026 F1 season onward, built around the IFEMA building. The construction is to begin in April and due to be completed by May of 2026 before the first round.

The base budget has been accounted as €111 million and so far the joint venture of ACCIONA and Eiffage Construction has been awarded €83.2 million. It is a 5.4 km long circuit with 22 turns in all. The average time is expected to be around 1m34.04s.
