Charles Leclerc set the fastest time of the FIA Formula 2 free practice session at the Spa-Francorchamps circuit, in Belgium. The Prema driver led a one-two for his team, as Antonio Fuoco was 2nd ahead of Oliver Rowland.
Leclerc started the session on top ahead of Fuoco and Rowland. However, he had an issue with the fire extinguisher which left him unable to go back on track.However, no one would improve his time and he was fastest, 1 tenth ahead of Fuoco. Behind them, Rowland, Artem Markelov (Russian Time) and Ralph Boschung (Campos Racing) completed the top 5.
